Objective: By comparison with the effects between two group postoperative patients of ankle fracture according different rehabilitation methods, the paper discussed the feasibility and advantages of rehabilitation method in treatment group, and discussed the surgical methods and techniques, to provide a reference for the treating ankle fractures. Method: 53 cases of ankle fracture patients were randomized into treatment group and control group. The patients from the orthopedic ward in Shandong University of TCM Hospital were fixed with plaster after operation. Function rehabilitation methods of treatment group were established according to the specific circumstances and clinical experiences, control group according to six weeks plaster fixation without training (6WC). The two group patients had no obvious variance in age, gender, fracture type and surgical methods, and were treated with ORIF. The lateral malleolus fractures were fixed with tibia-fibula third tube-shaped plates;the medial malleolus with screws;and postoperative rehabilitation were guided with different methods. 6 months later, the ankle function was evaluated and scored including pain, activity, hospitalization, complete tolerance load time, and then were statistically analyzed. Result: In aspect of ankle activity, treatment group was obviously superior to the control group. There was no obvious variance in other aspects. Conclusion: The functional rehabilitation method of treatment group has its feasibility and advantages for ankle postoperative patients.
