| Objectives: To observe efficiency and adverse effects of BuShenYiXinPill for Treating Angina Pectoris CHD and taking Diaoxinxuekang capsule as the control, to objectively evaluate the efficiency and safety of BuShenYiXin Pill for treating angina pectoris CHD. Documents and methods: sixty patients with angina pectoris syndrome entered the study and were randomized to treatment and control group 30 cases in each. The treatment group was given BuShenYiXinPill, two pills one time and three times each day. The control group was given Diaoxinxuekang capsule, two pills one time and three times each day. The treatment duration was four weeks. The study was made as a randomized control trial. The electrocardiogram (ECG) , the conditions of blood, urine, and excrement, the liver and renal functions and blood liquid were determined at the beginning and the end of the trial respectively. During treatment we observed the attack frequency of angina pectoris, reduction and stop with quick-acting deleted arterial coronary medicine, the changes on Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome .The clinical treating effects and their beginning and maintaining time were assessed with methods of grade score and described in words .The adverse effects were illustrated in words. Results: BuShenYiXin Pill can obviously improve the cardiac function, the symptom of angina (P<0.05 ) and ECG The total effective rate of improving symptoms of treatment group is 86.67% (P<0.05 ) . BuShenYiXin Pill can significantly ameliorate the symptoms such as feeling of oppression in the chest, palpitation fatigue, frequent mictusition (P<0.05 ) , etc. There is significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: The mechanism of CHD is blood stasis due to deficiency of the kidney and congestion of fluid-retentions. It shows that notifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation and inducing dieresis is an effective therapeutic method of CHD. It is of great valve to guide the clinical practice.
