Clinical Observation And Its Mechanism On Treating Left Ventricular Hypertrophy In Hypertension By Bu Shen He Luo Fang

Objective: To observe the clinical effect and influence of correlative index of Bu Shen He Luo Fang on left ventricular hypertrophy in hypertension and explore the mechanism of Bu Shen He Luo Fang on treating myocardial fibrosis.Provide new ways and means for treating essential hypertension with chinese medicine.Methods(:1)32 male SHR rats aged 16 week were divided into 4 groups,namely model group,Bu Shen He Luo Fang high,low dose groups and perindopril control group. 8 male WKY rats with the same of age and weight was named normal control group. The experimental period lasted 8 weeks.Blood pressure was measured by tail cuff method once a week.After the trials finished,Rats were irradiated and the myocardial sample were cut off from free wall of left ventricle. The samples were HE stained and picrosirius polarization stained.Measure collagenvolume fraction(CVF) and perivasular circumferential area(PVCA) by Motic Images Advanced 3.0.Measure the hepatic growth factor(HGF) of blood sample and Tissues sample.(2)90 cases were divided into treatment group and control group by using the random and compare way.Conventional western medical therapy was giver to both groups.At the same time,the treatment group were dosed Bu Shen He Luo Fang.Placebo was added to the contral group. The changes of echocardiogram was observed before and after treatment.Result:(1) Bu Shen He Luo Fang has explicit hypotensive effect to SHR rats.The left ventricular mass indexs of Bu Shen He Luo Fang high,low dose groups are significantly decreased.It nearly closed to the normal control group. Bu Shen He Luo Fang decreased CVF and PVCA significantly,closed to perindopril control group.HGF in serum and tissue levels are decreased in Bu Shen He Luo Fang low dose groups,which was similar to perindopril control group. HGF in serum and tissue levels are decreased obviously in Bu Shen He Luo Fang high dose groups,which was similar to normal control group. (2) The weight of myocardium,contraction and diastole of left ventricle before treatment in the two groups were comparable (P>0.05). The index of left ventricle pachynsis was lowered after treatment in both groups. The decrease of that in the treating group and diastolc function mprovement were more obvious (P<0.01). Conclusion: Bu Shen He Luo Fang has explicit hypotensive effects and it can depress ventricle remodeling.One of the mechanisms,we conjectured,are maybe local externalization of HGF.
