The Strategy Of Clinical Procedures And Sequela Of Plombage And Injections Of Polyacrylamide Hydrogel

Objective: To research the clinical manifestations of the sepuela of post-injection and plombage of polyacrylamide hydrogel in order to find a suitable treatment of the sepuela of post-injection and plombage of polyacrylamide hydrogel.Methods: We gathered, summarized and analysized the clinical data of 39 patients who had been got injection and plombage of polyacrylamide hydrogel out of our hospital in order to approach to reasonable strategy of clinical procedures.Results: 11 of 39 patients who had been got injection and plombage of polyacrylamide hydrogel had none clinical complaint, 28 of 39 patients had clinical complaints. The manifestations were that 12 patients had local inductions, 12 patients had local pain, 8 patients had bit shifting to circa-site, they all had mental burden. All patients had got satisfical curative effect after clinical operation and non-operation treatment. Conclusion: We must remove the possibility of local benign or malignant tumor of those patients, and chose imaging examination in order to identify quantities and layers of injected polyacrylamide hydrogel in details. We chose visiting and recheck ing in out-patient clinic for those patients who had none clinical complaints and no request to take out of polyacrylamide hydrogel, We suggested those patients who had psychologic obstacle to have psychological treatment. We gave those patients who had clinical complaints or had strong request to take out of polyacrylamide hydrogel surgical intervention. In principle, we didn't use another soft tissue obturator to replace polyacrylamide hydrogel during operation.
