Objective:To investigate whether the multudrug resistance relates to the expression of RXRmRNA and MDRmRNA in psoriatic lesion.Methods:groups:15 cases of normal skin, lesional skin of 18 cases of newly diagnosis psoriatic patients,23cases of relapsed patients;the technology of in situ hybridization was used to detect the expression of RXRmRNA and MDRmRNA.Results:①The positive RXRmRNA and MDRmRNA expression were observed in most keratinocytes except stratum comeum, especially in the upper layers. From the upper to the lower layers the reactivities were decreasing by degrees.②There were significantly stronger expression of RXRmRNA in the normal control skin than that in lesional psoriatic subjects, and that of newly diagnosis stronger that of relapsed patients(P<0.05);The grade of MDRmRNA in the normal control skin was lower than that in lesional psoriatic subjects, and that of newly diagnosis was lower than that of relapsed patients(P<0.05);③There were no correlation between the expression of RXRmRNA and MDRmRNA.Conclusions:Decreased expression of RXRmRNA and increased expression of MDRmRNA might be some of the factors of up-regulating drug resistance. But there were no relationship between these two factors.
