The Study Of Diagnose And Treatment Of Extensive Burn Patients With Stress Diabetes

Objective to study the incident and influencing factor of stress diabetes among extensive burn patients:to observant and assess the effect of stress diabetes and approach the positive effect during the treatment of extensive burn patients.Method collected the clinic data of 131 extensive burn patients who was treated in the Guangxi medical university burn department during 2001 to 2006.they included 33 stress diabetes patients.And divided 131 patients into 2 groups:stress diabetes and non-stress diabetes;compared mortality rate of the 2 groups。Compared the stress diabetes patient's condition and dermatoplastic survival rate after blood sugar controlling with before.Result 1.there were statistical significant difference of the case fatality rate between the group of stress diabetes and non-stress diabetes(p＜0.05).2.There were statistical significant difference of the dermatoplastic survival rate after blood sugar controlling with before.(p＜0.05)ConclusionThe stress diabetes affects the prognosis of extensive burn patients.Early sugar controlling conduces to wound healing and stopping progression of disease.Blood sugar monitoring,effective anti-shock and anti-infection,correct wound surface treatment and individual Insulin treatment were utility step to control stress diabetes in the severe burn patients.The daily blood sugar examine that continue 5—7days is helpful to the diagnosis of stress diabetes after severe burn injury.
