PDT which works as an innovative medical method has played a more and moreimportant role in many disease therapies especially in some kinds of tumors. C-PC isthe key photo-capture protein of Spirulina Platensis, contains a andβsubunits.Basing our studies, C-PC subunits can penetrate into most of cell lines within 4 hours.Well PCD effect can be seen in COS7,C6,S180,SP2/0 cell lines. If given 22.32J/cm~2 irradiation dose, the suppression rate reaches 17.8%,26.2%,33.8%and 78.6%respectively.The distribution of C-PC subunits has been also studied in matured andfetal mouse body systematically. Our experiments indicated that C-PC mainly locatedat bloomy metabolism tissues: such as stomach, small intestine, and liver, etc. Ourstudies also presented that C-PC subunits can't penetrate blood-brain barrier in maturemouse. Studies in fetal mouse showed that C-PC can penetrate placental barrier easily,and the distribution of C-PC is quite the same as in matured mouse.
