The isomerous problem in HIS has a long history. With the development of medical business, medical information exchange and share are needed. The project introduces HL7standard as a protocol for statistical exchange between both parties in the communication for the exchange of statistical information between isomerous systems. In addition to statistical exchange, the application of HL7 standard has far-reaching significance to Chinese medical industry. It can help the internal medical institutions to meet with the international standards. Following the same standard, it will strengthen the competitiveness of medical institutions, contribute to the resource organization and share in the industry, reduce the running cost in the industry and provide better service for the society. The paper mainly studies the medical insurance information based on the practical model of information exchange in Huaqiao Hospital and Guangzhou Medical Insurance Center, and designs a demo system so that it can construct, parse and communication the message base on HL7 standard. The system adopts a three-tier C/S framework by using Huaqiao Hospital as a client end, Guangzhou Medical Insurance Center as a server and HL7 as an intermediate. The HL7's midware consists of two function models: HL7 message construction/parse model and information communication model. The format of HL7 message is based on XML, and we will choose TCP/IP as transmission protocol and choose J2EE.to design the HL7'midware.The system demonstrates that, without change the frame of current system, the HL7'midware can construct, parse and transmission HL7 message based on XML.It fit for the statistical exchange between isomerous systems to achieve the present aim. Furthermore, the discussion in the project will help further research in the future.
