Objective: Analyzing the anatomy of subdural space can make an evidenceto the exceptional level of anesthesia in the clinic working,callingattention to the presence of subdural space, realizing that somecomplications have roots in the subdural space and to avoid the seriousand dangerous phenomenon following with the subdural space intubationMethods:1. According to the result of the dissection of died cow spine, we makeclear that there is a space between the spinal dura mater and thearachnoid, called subdural space;2. According to the result of the dissection of living dog spine, weanalysize the anatomy meant of subdural space.3. By not pulling out the catheter of the patients who have theexceptional level of anerthesia in the operation and injectingradiopaque agent—Iohexol 4ml, then making photos, we study thesubdural space.Results:1. The subdural space can be parted easily and also can be exposedcompletely in the died cow spine.2. The subdural space can be seperated mostly in the living dog,whichalso can prove the existence of subdural space.3. The X ray photo of patients who have the exceptional level ofanerthesia in the operation proved that the catheter is not in theepidural space and the subarachnoid cavity, but in another spacenamed subdural space.Conclusion: The subdural space is exsitence and is not the effect ofthe puncture needle dissecting.The anatomy characteristic of subdural space can make a reasonableexplain to the exceptional level of anesthesia in the clinic working.So this experiment put forward challenge and a new idea against the traditional theory which consider that subdural space is a potential space.
