The Effect Of Decoction Shuchuanheji On IL-13 Of Children With Cough Variability Asthma

Objective: To investigate The Effect of Decoction Shuchuanheji on IL-13 ofChildren with cough variability asthma (CVS).Methods: 16 healthy children were selected as normal control group.32children with cough variability asthma were divided into 2 groups at random:Group A (Shuchuanhej)and group B (salbutamol+ketotifen). Before and afterthe treatment, IL-13 of all patients were measured. Statistical analysis wasperformed by SPSS 12.0. Mainly observed the change of IL-13 and physicalsign after treatment between two groups.Results: Compared with normal control group, the levels of IL-13 of Group Aand group B were significantly increased(P＜0.01) before treatment. Aftertreatment, a greatly decreasing had appeared in Group A and groupB(P＜0.01), and there appeared a better effect in group A than in group B aftertreatment (P＜0.01). But curative effect of group A and group B have noobviously difference (P＞0.05). Symptom abolition time of group Amore quikely than group B (P＜0.05). Conclusion: 1. IL-13 of children with cough variability asthma were allincreased and decreasing after treatment, which manifestIL-13 participated in procedure of pathology physiology in CVA. 2.Decoction Shuchuanheji can greatly decreasing on IL-13, and thereappeared a better effect in group A than in group B after treatment, thismanifest Decoction Shuchuanheji improve airway inflammation and airwaysensitiveness, ultimum chalk heal cough variability asthma.
