Expression of Survivin and Caspase-3, Caspase-7 Gene in Non-Small Cell Lung CancerObjectiveTo study Expression of Apoptosis gene Survivin and Caspase-3, Caspase-7 in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).MethodsExpression of the Survivin mRNA, Caspase-3 mRNA, Caspase-7 mRNA was evaluated by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in 32 NSCLC tumor samples,10 adjacent normal lung tissue samples.ResultsExpression of survivin gene was detected in a significantly greater proportion of NSCLC (71.8％) than adjacent normal lung tissue (10％) (P＜0.01), There was relationship between survivin gene expression and differentiation,TNM stages ,orlymph node metastases.the expression of survivin gene correlated with Caspase-3 mRNA, Caspase-7 mRNA expression,ConclusionThe up-regulation expression of survivin gene in NSCLC suggested that survivin may playa role in the pathway of carcinogenesis and survivin may be identified as a potential therapeutic target in NSCLC.(2)survivin,de-activation of Caspase-3 mRNA, Caspase-7 mRNA expression might play a role in the process of carcinogenesis of NSCLC.
