Clinical Research On Earlier Period Intervention Of Fuzheng Paidu Tablet To HIV Asymptomatic Carrier

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect and security of Fuzheng Paidu tablet on HIV asymptomatic carrier systemicly, offer objective and forcible clinical evidence for the clinical application of Fuzheng Paidu tablet, and establish foundation for manufacuring Chinese traditional medicine new drug on HIV asymptomatic carrier, aiming at that there is no appropriate medicine on HIV asymptomatic carrier. Fuzheng Paidu tablet was developed by PengBo professor summarizing clinic experiences of professor of Henan Colloge of TCM, who are front line experts on treating AIDS patients,its protective effect in treating AIDS patients and HIV asymptomatic carrier has been validated in clinical practices.Methods:The randomly group sampling, literature and blank comparison methods are used in this study. 70 HIV asymptomatic carriers was observed. Each case was treated with Fuzheng Paidu tablets, 5 tablets t.i.d , three months is a period of treatment and two periods of treatment was observed. Changes of symptom, survival quality table and sign was recorded , immune and security index, viral loads was checked-up before and after treatment. Statistic these data to observe the clinical effect and security of Fuzheng Paidu tablet. Regular treatment was applied when other symptom emerged during the treatment.Results:To leave 69 cases finished the study because of 1 case going out for job.1 The effect on symptom and sign of Fuzheng Paidu tablet for HIV asymptomatic carriers.The main symptom and sign were reduced after 6 month therapy of Fuzheng Paidu tablet.especially erosion of mouth, ulcer of mucosa,baldness; symptom and sign such as fever, diarrhea, coldness, abnormal perspiration, thinness, cough, fatigue, disorder of sleep, stomachache, palpitated, gorge illness, thoraxache, flankache, bellyache relapse less and less, there is a little fluctuation after six month treatment(still less than before treatment). The recurrence rate of 27 main symptom and sign reduced from 16.0±7.2 time before treatment to 5.4±4.3 time after treatment. The difference after therapy is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics.This clinical study result show that 21 out of 27 main symptom and sign integral, such as fatigue, fever, diarrhea, abnormal perspiration, thirsty, coldness, erosion of mouth, dizzyness, headache, cough, stomachache, palpitated, gorge illness, thoraxache, flankache, bellyache ulcer of mucosa, baldness,thinness, tetter, etc, was decreased after treatment than that of before treatment , the difference is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics. The integral of nausea, taste abnormal,skin itch,herpes is reduced, the theraputics effect fluctuated after six month treatment (P>0.05). The difference of the effect on integral of symptom and sign of Fuzheng Paidu tablet for HIV asymptomatic carriers between pretherapy and post-therapy is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics.The effect of Fuzheng Paidu tablet for 69 HIV asymptomatic carriers, total effect rate after 3 months ,6 months treatment is 75.36%,84.06%respectively.2 The effect of Fuzheng Paidu tablet on the immune function of HIV asymptomatic carriers.After treated by Fuzheng Paidu tablet, the quantity of CD4+T lymphocyte rising 8.5 per mm3 averagely, compared with the annual mean descent rate of itsnature course. It indicate that Fuzheng Paidu tablet has the effect to heighten the quantity of CD4+ and it show that the CD4+/CD8+ is stabilize between pretherapy and post-treatment; at the same time, compared with the annual mean decent rate of CD4+ (descend 43.3 per mm3 in 6 months) of 25 HIV asymptomatic carriers who have not taken medicine at all, it show Fuzheng Paidu tablet has the effect to heighte the quantity of CD4+ in coordination time. Calculate the effective power based on the quantity of CD4+ rising or descending 50per mm3, CD4+ effect rate after 3 months, 6 months treatment is 56.25%, 73.91% respectively.Through statistics the quantity of CD4+, it shows that the difference of effect of Fuzheng Paidu tablet for HIV asymptomatic carriers whose CD4+ is 200～400/mm3 and 401～600/mm3 after 3 months is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics. The effect rate is 69.05%,31.82%respectively. But it is nonsense in statistics after 6 months. The former is higher than the latter obviously.3 The effect of Fuzheng Paidu tablet on viral loads of HIV asympt-omatic carriers. Take suction 23 HIV asymptomatic carriers(1/3 of cases) at random to detect viral load, compared with pretherapy, there are 9 cases valid, 12 stable and 3 invalid in treatment group; the total ratio is percent 91.30%. The difference of the total ratio between pretherapy and post-treatment is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics.4 The effect of Fuzheng Paidu tablet on survival quality of HIV asymptomatic carriers.The difference of the effect of Fuzheng Paidu tablet on the sinew latitude, pain latitude, sleep latitude, social life latitude and affection latitude of HIV asymptomaticcarriers between pretherapy and post-treatment is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics except the body action latitude.5 Observe the clinical security of Fuzheng Paidu tabletThe result of safety index between pretherapy and post-treatment of Fuzheng Paidu tablet show that there has no damage of liver and kidney, no dysimpact on blood,urine and dung, no dyseffect on ECG and perspective in clinical.Conclusions: Fuzheng Paidu tablet can relieve or control the appearance of the correlated symptom and sign of the HIV asymptomatic carriers, improve their survival quality, raise or stabilize immune function, cut down viral load of deal cases,it is used safely in clinical in now existent cases and observation time.
