Abstract/Summary:
To explore the roles of adiponectin and adiponectin receptor(Adipo R),leptin and resistin in the formation of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)induced by a fat-rich diet, and their responses after the medication of rosiglitazone. Our studies suggested that a fat-rich diet can lead to the decrease of serum adiponectin and resistin, increase of leptin, incease of AdipoR1 mRNA and decrease of AdipoR2 mRNA in the liver, which may promote the formation of NAFLD.Rosiglitazone can increase the level of serum adiponectin, improve the serum lipid and aminotransferase. It suggests dysfunction of adipocytokines, especially adiponectin and its receptors, may hasten NAFLD; insulin resistence maybe the pathogenisis of NAFLD; Adipocytokines maybe a new target in the diagnosis and treatment of NAFLD.
