Objectives: To study the relationship between the polymorphism of Apolipoprotein H exon 3 and exon 8 with coronary heart disease(CHD) and lipidemia.Methods:1,100 case of control group and 110 patients with CHD were clellec-ted, Polymerase chain reaction and single strand conformation polymorphism(PCR-SSCP) were used to determine the genotypes of Aport exon 3 and exon 8 in 110 patients with CHD and 100 health control group.Results:1,there were three genetypes in Apolipoprotein H exon 3: GG,GA and AA. because of the shortage of GA and AA, they were added up together, normal group: GG genetype frequencies 89%, GA and AA genetype frequencies 11%, G alleles frequencies 93.3%, A alleles frequencies 6.7%; CHD group: G -G genetype frequencies 81.8%, GA and AA genetype frequencies 18.2%,G alleles frequencies 88%, A alleles frequencies 12%; There was no difference betwe -en CHD group and control group in terms of the frequency of Apo H exon 3 GG,GA+AA genetype and G and A allele frequency(x~2=2.15, 1.37, P>0.05). 2,there were two genetypes in Apolipoprotein H exon 8: GG and GC, normal group: GG genetype frequencies 90%, GC genetype frequencies 10%, G alleles frequencies 95%, C alleles frequencies 5%; CHD group: GG genetype frequenci -es 74.5%, GC genetype frequencies 25.5%, G alleles frequencies 87%, A allel -es frequencies 13%; the frequency of GC genetype of Apo H exon8 in CHD group was more higher than in the control group (x~2=8.44, P<0.05), and the fr -equency of C allele was more higher than in the control group (x~2=5.17, P<0.05).3,LDL of GG genetype and GA+AA genetype of Apo H exon 3 in the C -HD group was higher than in the control group(t=8.44, 4.06, P<0.05), there wa -s no difference of lipidemia of other genetype in CHD group and the contro -1 group(P>0.05). 4,LDL of GG genetype and GC genetype of Apo H exon 8 in CHD group was more higher than that in control group( t=8.25, 6.55, p<0.05), TG of GC genetype of Apo H exon 8 in CHD group was more higher than GG genetype and other genetype of control group(t=6.79, 4.94, 2.89, P<0.05).conclusion: there was no relativity between Apo H exon 3 gene polymorphism and CHD and lipidemia, Apo H exon 8GC genetype and C allele have somet -hing to do with CHD, and Apo H exon 8 gene polymorphism have something to do with TG.
