The Clinical Research On The Children With Cerebral Palsy Of Pi Xu Type Treatment With The Jian Pi Yi Qi Fa Theory Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:Cerebral palsy (CP) is a syndrome, which has developmental delay of motorand abnormal pose or movement. It is always together with intelligence lowness,epileptic, language barrier, behavior barrier, or audition and vision barrier.And it has a great infection to the child' growing. The brain damage in thenervous system causes its gastrointestinal dysfunction, thereby causing itsmalnutrition, poor physical consequences. Study found: Most children withCP are together with malnutrition or anemia or chronic dyspepsia. Thesediseases have a great infection to the rehabilitation training. The doctorsare often concerned about the treatment of physical disability.For childrenwith cerebral palsy, they don't pay attention to the treatment of suchdiseases. Western medicine can ease some symptoms, but the curative effectis not obvious. To treat such diseases, Chinese medicine has certain advantages.The study is to observe the curative effect of Jian Pi Yi Qi fa on the absorbingfunction of the children with CP and to explore an effective path for thetreatment of such gastrointestinal dysfunction diseases.Methods:In clinical study, 70 cases diagnosed CP were randomly divided into twogroups, 35 cases taking the western medicine, 35 cases taking the Jian Pi YiQi Chinese medicine, at the same time, both of the groups have comprehensiverehabilitation of cerebral palsy treatment. Before and after treatment,theclinical symptoms scores were noted, and acid stimulated salivary amylase andurinary amylase, Serum zinc, iron and hemoglobin values were measured.Results: After treatmenting for two months, the clinical symptoms of both two groupchildren were improved, and there was obvious difference between before andafter the treatment (P＜0.01).But to improve the clinical symptoms, thetreatment group were better than that of the control group (P＜0.01).There was significant difference in the acid stimulated salivary amylaselevels, serum zinc and serum iron and hemoglobin values in the treatment groupbefore and after treatment (P＜0.05).And there was also significant differencein these aspects between the treatment group and the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The Jian Pi Yi qi Chinese medicine treatment on the children with CP isan effective treatment, which is mainly achieved through the improvement ofthe clinical symptoms, increasing the acid stimulated salivary amylase levels,serum zinc and serum iron and hemoglobin content. And the treatment group hasobvious advantage compare to the control group.The Jian Pi Yi qi Chinese medicine can promote digestion and absorptionfunction in children with CP, improve their functional gastrointestinaldisorder, and can improve malnutrition, low immunity and other conditions,and thus promote the overall rehabilitation.
