[Objective]To observe the effects on bone tissues cytomorphology and BMP-2 of ovariectomy(OVX). From the point of histology and molecular biology, study the mechanism of the treatment with JIANGUⅡon OP.[Methods]Taking female ovariectomized SDrats as the experimental models of osteoporosis, using HE staining, we will analyze the number of osteoblasts and osteoclasts in the bone tissues, and BMP-2 expressions in bone tissues of ovariectomy(OVX).[Results]1. The number of empty lacuna, osteoblasts and osteoclasts of OVX-JIANGUⅡwere more than those of OVX(p<0.01);2. The results of immunohistochemical tissue showed that the expressions of BMP-2 were higher than those of VOX in the bone tissues(p<0.01).[Conclusion]These datum indicated JIANGUⅡplayed an important role in treatment of osteoporosis by called "estrogen-like" effection. It could to promote the expressions of BMP-2 in osteoblasts, and facilitative the proliferation, differentiation in osteoblasts. At the same time, it could to inhibit proliferation and differentiation in osteoclasts. The results indicated that it made the activity of bone resumption on orthoclase to be weaken and increased the bone formation of orthoclastic. It changed from the negative state of equilibrium of bone metabolism to positive state.
