True 3D Volumetric Display Technique is a completely new research area in computer stereo vision technique. Based on it, we can obtain the images which have true physical depth cues in a region of 3D space. This creative technique has many advantages, such as multi-angle, all-round view and can be observed by many persons at the same time and interact with persons directly and so on.The dissertation firstly analyses the imaging principle, including static volumetric technique, translational motion and rotational motion swept-volume technique, then the paper gives three control models to describe their physical essence. Secondly, the paper analyses the dead zone of static volumetric technique, builds the mathematical model and proposes the solution about it. For the translational motion swept-volume technique, the dissertation emphasizes on screen moving with a sinusoidal velocity to construct image space, and uses linear approximation to make the system display homogeneous images. For the rotational motion swept-volume technique, it analyse the voxel attributes in the image space. Based on it, the paper studys a creative true 3D volumetric display system. This system can provide 360 visible images and real-time distance transmission. In order to increase the resolution of the system, we ameliorate the system. Then, the dissertation uses OpenGL programming in VC to construct the image space and simulate the process of displaying images. The results validate the correctness of the theory.Finally, the paper describes the interaction of display system. Fitts'Model is the essential of interaction. It can evaluate the capability of interaction tool and predicts the interaction effect. The dissertation proposes three typical interaction methods and applys them into true 3D volumetric display system. The dissertation tries best to using mathmetical model to resolve physical problem, establishs the foundation theoretically for the engineering carring out.
