Objective To evaluate the valuation and limitation of 64-slice computed tomographycoronary angiography(CTCA) in contrast to conventional coronary angiography(CCA)Methods Assesment of the major and minor branches of coronary arteries by 64-sliceCTCA, show the information of 26 patients with 64-slice CTCA comparing with CCAregarded as the golden standard recently implemented. All date were proceed by SPSS 11.0softwareResults In all 320 there is 308 coronary arteries that can be assessment. 56 lesions wereconfirmed by CCA later, 6 lesions were falsely positive and 4 lesions were found by CCAbut not pick up by 64-slice CTCA.The sensitive, specificity, positive predict values andnegative predict values were 93.3ï¼…, 97.7ï¼…, 90.3ï¼…, 98.4ï¼…. Furter statistical analysis using a2-related x~2 test showed no obvious difference in the discovery of CAD between 64-sliceCTCA and CCA. Among 25 little stenosis, 11 were dignosis propoly by MIP, 13 weredignosis propoly by CPR, in vessel axis MPR there were 19 include all the 13 coronarystenosis. Furter statistical analysis using a 2-related x 2 test showed there is obviousdifference in the discovery of little stenosis between vessel axis MPR and MIP or CPRP=0.01 (MIP and MPR), P=0.04 (CPR and MPR)Conclusions 64-slice CTCA has excellent sensitivity and specificity in detecting CAD,patient who were disgnosis negative can exclude the probably of CAD. When diagnosis littlestenosi, vessel axis MPR is more useful. As a alternative method 64-slice CTCA is a usefulnon-invasive for detecting coronary arteries disease in symptomatic patient...
