A Clinical Study On Effect Of TCM Treated The Patients With Dry Eye

Objective: To investigate the effect of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treated patients with dry eye. Methods: 70 cases with dry eye were reviewed retrospectively and divided into TCM group(experiment group) and Vitamine A group(control group)randomly, both with ai～Mi eye drops in 30 days. The standards of correct diagnosis depended on the results of 3 conventional clinical examination of dry eye (schirmer test, tear film break—up time and fluoresce in staining of cornea).The tests above were performed before treatment and repeated 15days. Results: The effect of the TCM group is superior to Vitamine A group, it has inproved 88.57% of the patients, and the difference is significant in statistics(p<0.05). Traditional Chinese medincine is an effective therapy for dry eye patients.
