Objective:To evaluate the effect of TCM(Deng's GUANXIN Capsule) treatment inquality life and cardiac function in Mid-long-term postoperative patients. Methods:Revisit patients having underwent percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in Guangdong provincial hospital of TCM during Jul, 2004 to Jul, 2006 to contrastResults:74 patients were revisited, 68(90.1%) of which were successfully revisited. All of them completed quality life questionnaire of SF-36, and were conductedobservation of TCM syndromes. There are 24 patients which were single westerntreatment(western medicine treatment group) and 44 patients which werecombination of Deng's GUANXIN Capsule and western medicine treatment(combination treatment group). Compare to western medicine group, thecombination treatment group was higher in age, rate of angina pectoris. Inthe related analysis, The age of patients was negative related to patients'quality life and left ventricle ejection fraction(LVEF), but positive relatedto cardiac function and TCM syndrome. The TCM syndrome was proved negativerelated quality life and LVEF, but positive related to cardiac function. Conclusion:The quality life and cardiac function of postoperative patients wasdepended on the secular treatment of TCM(Deng's GUANXIN Capsule) and westernmedicine. TCM treatment, which relieves the TCM syndrome, will be favorable in the improvement of postoperative patients' quality life and cardiacfunction.
