Objective To observe the distribution and quantity of the gastrointestinal tract in Experimental fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis, and to study the interstitial cells of Cajal in experimental fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis changes in the gastrointestinal motility related mechanism.Method Experimental SD rats were divided into 50 groups of fatty liver (n = 25) and hepatic cirrhosis (n = 15) and normal control group (n = 10); fatty liver model were duplicated by high-fat diet feeding and hepatic cirrhosis, intraperitoneal injection of Thioacetamide (TAA). The hepatic tissue were sliced for pathological observasion. The gastrointestitial motility changes were assayed using Dextran blue-2000 as an indicator, immunohistochemical methods were used to investigate the C-kit positive interstitial cells of Cajal in rat gastrointestinal tract changes. Using quantitative image analysis software for statistical analysis. Results Duplicating successful models of fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis. Compared with the control group, gastrointestinal transmission rate of rats with fatty liver was significantly reduced (P <0.05), jejunum C-kit positive interstitial cells of Cajal was reduced (P <0.001); Compared with the control group, gastrointestinal transmission rate of hepatic cirrhosis rats was significantly reduced (P <0.05), jejunum C-kit positive interstitial cells of Cajal was reduced (P <0.001); gastrointestinal transmission rate of the fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis, was statistically significant (P <0.05). Fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis of the jejunumC-kit positive interstitial cells of Cajal, the statistical significance (P <0.001). Conclusion gastrointestinal motility of fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis is significantly weakened, which may be associated with the change of the interstitial cells of Cajal number. The topics suggested that the interstitial cells of Cajal is reduced in fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis, in the incidence of gastrointestinal motility disorders, and fatty liver and hepatic cirrhosis for the study of gastrointestinal motility disorders of the gastrointestinal complications and even laid the pathogenesis of experimental basis, as well as provide a new direction for clinical treatment.
