However its side effects are severe and the compliance of patients is poor. In our experiment bleomycin A5 was used to induce the pulmonary fibrosis of rats. And we investigated the effect of marine on those rats through HE, Masson staining and immunohistochemistry staining. Methods: 45-Wistar rats were divided into three groups randomly. (1) The rats of normal sodium group were injected normal sodium with a dose of 1ml/kg in trachea at the beginning of experiment. (2) The rats of bleomycin A5 group were injected bleomycin A5 with a dose of 5mg/ ml/kg in trachea at the beginning of experiment. Both the normal sodium group and the bleomycin A5 group were administered intraperitoneal injection of normal sodium with a dose of 1mg/kg.(3) The rats of marine-treated group were injected bleomycin A5 5mg/ml/kg in trachea at the beginning of experiment and simultaneously administered intraperitoneal injection of marine with a dose of 100mg/ml/kg.Results: (1)The comparison of the lung coefficients: The lung coefficients in the marine group and in the normal sodium group were significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01) lower than that of bleomycin A5 group after the 28th day. However there was no statistical significance between normal sodium group and Marine-treated group. (2) Comparison the result of gray scale scanning area semiquantitative analysis of pulmonary HE staining: The anachromasis area of bleomycin A5 group was significantly (P<0.01) larger than that of normal sodium group at all phases. The anachromasis area of marine-treated group was significantly smaller than that of bleomycin A5 group, and there was no statistical significance between the marine-treated group and the normal sodium group except the 14th day (P=0.03). (3) The comparison in the collagen content image analysis: The collagen area of bleomycin A5 group were significantly larger (P<0.01)than that of normal sodium group at all phases. The collagen area of marine-treated group was significantly(P < 0.01) smaller than that of bleomycin A5 group, and there was no statistical significance between marine-treated group and normal sodium group. (4) The comparison in the content of TGFβ1: The collagen area of bleomycin A5 group was significantly (P<0.01) larger than that of normal sodium group at all phases. The collagen area of marine-treated group was significantly smaller than that of bleomycin A5 group except the 7th day, and The collagen area of marine-treated group was significantly (P<0.01) larger than that of normal sodium group at all phases. Conclusion: The effect of marine on the rats of pulmanory fibrosis induced by bleomycin A5 was satisfactory. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | pulmonary fibrosis, marine, rats, TGFβ1 | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
