Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the Roumudan Keli in treating chronic hepatitis B with Qi asthenia blood stasis and toxic retention, the influence on HA, LN, Câ…£, PCâ…¢, the security of the long-term treatment. And to explore its mechanism of action preliminary.Methods:78 patients of chronic hepatitis B with Qi asthenia blood stasis and toxic retention were randomly divided into the treated group (40 cases), control group (38 cases), treated with the Roumudan Keli, FFBJRGP respectively, with half a year course, to observe the items of clinical symptoms, physical signs, hepatic function, and the serum fibrosis indexes.Result: The results showed that the total effective rate was 80% in the treated group after treatment, and clinical effect was no significant with control group(P>0.05);Clinical symptoms and physical signs, as follows debilitation, abdominal distention, anepithymia, dim complexion etc, were improved markedly in the treated group; Pre-and post-treatment the indexes of hepatic function were compared, the level of the serums ALT, AST, TBIL of the treated group decreased obviously, and there was significant between two groups on ALT, AST (P<0.05); After treatment, HA, LN, PCâ…¢,â…£C of the treated group and the control group decreased significantly, however there was no statistical significance between them (P>0.05).Conclusion: To the patients of chronic hepatitis B with Qi asthenia blood stasis and toxic retention, there is alike curative effect on Roumudan Keli therapy and FFBJRGP therapy in resisting hepatic fibrogenesis. However the Roumudan Keli possess the function of protecting the hepatic cells, and the function of ameliorating Clinical symptoms and physical signs of the Roumudan Keli therapy are better than the FFBJRGP therapy.
