Objective To study The Influence of HBV—DNA on cytomegalovirus infection after liver transplantation. Methods Monitoring cytomegalovirus pp65 antigenemia and HBV-DNA in Liver transplant recipients, HCMV-pp65 and HBV-DNA were termly assessed by immmuno histochemistry and PCR, Compare different HCMV infection rates between The group which have HBV-DNA positive and The group which have HBV-DNA seronegative. Result the HCMV infection rate is notably higher in HBV-DNA positive ones70.69% ( 82/116 ) than that in HBV-DNA negative ones59.57% (56/94); (P<0.05) . Conclusions: the high HCMV-pp65 positive in patients with HBV may be caused by low immune response when people were caught with HBV. Disorder in cellular immune function made body be sensitive to HCMV and activated the HCMV hided in the body. HBV and HCMV infection should be closely monitored after Liver transplantation and be treated promptly to avoid superinfection aggravating damage .
