Objective To explore the possible mechanism of Gubenkechuangao's effects on endogenous cortical hormone and airway hyper-responsiveness of allergic-produced asthma in rats,by observing the influences of Gubenkechuangao on endogenous cortical hormone and endothelin(ET),atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP). Providing an experimental evidence for its clinical uses of adopting the methods of both removing and mending, appearance and nature concurrently, when it is used in anti-recurrence of asthma in children. Methods Forty-eight SD rats were divided into six groups at random: the normal control group, the model group, the high-dosage Gubenkechuangao group, the mid-dosage Gubenkechuangao group, the low-dosageGubenkechuan -gao group and the becotide group,8 rats in each group. By establishing the animal model of late asthmatic response in rats, HE dying ,we observed the pathological changes in rat s lung tissues after inhaled OVA aerosol to stir up repeatedly, under the low-time microsotic. The concentrations of adreno corticotropic hormone(ATCH) and cortisol (COR) in plasma were determined by radio immunoassay; The concentations of ET and atrial ANP in plasma and in pulmonary tissue were also determined by radio immunoassay. Results The weight growth of rat in the model group is slow obviously after repeatedly stimulating, Compared with the normal group and each treatment group, has the remarkable difference(P<0.01and P<0.05).Compared with the normal group, the concentations of cortisol and ACTH in plasma were significantly lower in the model group(P<0.01andP<0.05); the concentations of cortisol and ACTH in plasma were much more enhanced in groups of Gubenkechuangao than in the model group(P<0.05),but there was no remarkable enhancement in the level of plasma cortisol in the becotide group(P>0.05).Compared with the normal group, the concentrations of ET in plasma and in pulmonary tissue were significantly higher in the model group (P<0.01and P<0.05); ET levels in plasma and in pulmonary tissue have descreased obviously in groups of Gubenkechuangao and in the becitide group compared...
