Objection: The changes of inducible oxide synthase(iNOS), myeloperoxidase(MPO)and malondialdehyde(MDA) in ovarian and changes of histology and morphology in liver ischemia-reperfusion(I/R) injury were observed. Its relationship with the energy metabolism and endocrine changes in ovarian was investigated and its mechanism was studied following the process of liver I/R in rats. Methods: A model of liver I/R injury was established by imitation. 48 healthy female Wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups as following(n=8): the control group(CTL, the group of sham operateration), simply ischemia 30min without reperfusion (I group), reperfusion following ischemia 30min(I/R group), 2 hour reperfusion following ischemia 30min(I/R2h), 4 hours reperfusion following ischemia 30min(I/R4h) and 6 hours reperfusion following ischemia 30min(I/R6h). The expression of iNOS in ovarian was detected by means of immunohistochemical method in each group.Ovarian ultrastruction was also seen under light microscope. The changes of MPO and MDA in ovarian were measured. The changes of ATP-ase, lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) and lactic acid(LD) were also measured. The radioimmunoassay(RIA) was used to determine the serumal levels of estradiol and progesterone, Results: During the process of liver I/R, the expression of iNOS in ovarian was increased significantly in I/R group and I/R2h group compared with CTL,I, I/R4h,...
