Posterior capsular opacification (PCO) is one of the common complication of the cataract operation. At the same time, it is also the most important reason that affect the visual acuity after operation. In the clinic, all of the ophthalmologist try to eradicate the cataract when the operation is carrying out, and making sure that there is little cortical left to lessen the recurrent of the cataract. But the attack rate of the PCO is yet very high. It is reported that the attack rate of the PCO is as high as up to 20-50% because it is very difficult for us to eradicate the lens epithelial cells-induced PCO in the equator part. These days, it is believed that the leading mechanism of PCO is the proliferation and the translocation of the rudimental lens epithelial cells. According to all of the questions, the cataract operation style and the design of the artificial lens have a big amelioration.what's more, many antimetabolic drugs and immunity-armed drugs are gradually used in the clinic. Unfortunately, all of the methods are not excellent. They have corresponding disadvantages and limitation. In the end ,the problem of the replication of the lens epithelial cells have not been resolved. Taking all the above facts into consideration, it is emergent to find one safe and effective way to solve this problem.
