[Purpose]Currently, FZAM may be dissolute very quickly if use it as replacement of conjunctiva. Their living period will be shorten that can decrease the efficiency of operation greatly in the end. Providing experimentation basis for searching perfect conjunctival replacement by comparing the effect of AECM(Amnion extracellular matrix) , FZAM(Frozen amnion membrane) and AC(Autologous conjunctiva) for experimental conjunctival reconstruction.[Methods]24 New Zealand white rabbits were divided into 3 groups randomly and created a 12mm×7mm square of conjunctival defect in the up-lateral quadrant of right eyes, 12 eyes underwent AECM, 12 eyes received FZAM and 12 eyes received AC. All of them were strictly observed and examined with staining of PAS at 1, 2, 4, 8 weeks after surgery respectively. Three rabbits of each group were sacrificed and examined with staining of HE at the same time.[Results]All eyes that were operated grew well, There were no complications such as implant's desquamation and scar formation., In AECM group and FZAM group, the conjunctival epithelium migrated onto the margin of implant's surface .The goblet cells began to differentiate but fewer than normal at the first week. The inflammation of FZAM and AC group was more serious than AECM group. At the second week, the implant of AECM was still integrated , but the FZAM group dissolved obviously. The AECM...
