The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the effect of zinc oxide—eugenol cements and Gluma desensitizer on the sheer bond strength of three kinds of dentin bonding agents .The three dentin bonding luting agents was Zinc phosphate cement ,Glass ionomer cement and Super—Bond C&B .Calculation for the sheer bond strengths of every group and comparison for the resust. To find the theory depending for the using of different protective methods and the selecting of different kinds of dentin bonding agents in prepared abutment teeth .Material and Methods Ninty freshly extracted human premolars were used to carry out this investigation. The teeth were caries-free and fissurae-free The teeth were stored in 4℃ 1% chloromine solution. The buccal surfaces were flattend by means of a model TR-13 trimmer to expose an adequate area of lower dentin. Followed by wet-grinding on a series of silicon carbide paper from number 320 400 600 grit to produced the dentin bonding surfdace. The teeth were putted in stainless steel die and the roots were embedded in self-curing resin , the crown out of the resin. It was vertical between the denin bonding surface and the resin undersurface. The embedded ninty teeth were divided randomly into nine groups of ten teeth. The groups A(A1, A2, A3) were control and the dentin surfaces were not dealed. The groups B(B1, B2, B3) and C(C1, C2, C3)were experimental groups. The dentin surfaces of groups B from B1 to B3 were coverd with a paste of zinc oxide - eugenol cements . The dentin surfaces of groups C from C1 to C3 were coverd with Gluma desensitizer. All teeth were stored to part...
