Objective: Detect the polymorphism of CYP1A1-MSPI gene in 81cases with ovarian cancer .Make statistical analysis of the results with correspond cases' general materials and clinical materials ,such as age of onset ,pathology type of ovarian cancer ,treatment condition ,side effects and tumor markers .Methods: 81cases hospitalized in China-Japan Union Hospital and Jilin province Tumor Hospital from 2005 to 2006 have been confirmed to be ovarian cancer .Collect the free peripheral blood samples of the 81 cases preoperatively and detect the polymorphism of CYP1A1-MSPI gene at the Second Composite Laboratory of Molecular Biology .Compare the clinical materials of the 81 cases with different genotypes .Analyze the relationship between the polymorphism and age of onset, pathology types, side effects and chemical therapy.Results:①In the 81cases with ovarian cancer, there are 47 cases are wild type-genotype A(T/T)(58%),25 cases are mutation heterozygosis-genotype B(T/C) (31%), and 9 cases are mutation homozygosis-genotype C (C/C)(11%).②Ovarian cancer mostly happen in the females between 50-69 years old, there are 47 (53%) cases of these years of age in this study. The ages of onset are between 12-73 years old and the median is 55 years old. The ages of the patients with different CYP1A1-MSPI genotypes have significant difference (X~2=14.28 P<0.05). Genotype A ovarian cancer mostly happen in 50~60 years old(the incidence is 31 and holds 66%), It trends to be Gaussian distribution in the age of onset, while other genotypes have no obvious onset peak . In addition, the minimal-age-pationts happened in the genotype B, these are a IIIc disgerminoma of 12 yeas old patient, and two I-II a endodermal sinus tumors of the age below 18 yeas old.③There is significant difference (P<0.05) among the constituent ratios of the ovarian cancer pathology types.Conclusion:①Patients with ovarian cancer have polymorphism of CYP1A1-MSPI gene.②The age of onset of patients with ovarian cancer is related with CYP1A1-MSPI genotypes .③Patients with genotype A have the higher ratio of epithelium tumor than other ones. The ratio of the patients taking along mutation allele attacked by non-epithelial tumour assume has an increased tendency.
