Application Of Activitor Appliance In The Treatment Of Class Ⅱ Malocclusion

Objective: To investigate the characters of the treatment with Activitor in Angle class II patientsMethods: Twenty-five class II DivisionⅠpatients aged 1 0～1 3 years were included into this study. There were 1 0 boys and 1 5 girls. They are treated with activators. Lateral cephalograph panoramic and left hand and wrist radiographs were taken for each patient.Results: after the treatment of Activitor the overjet ,overbite and profile of patients improved significantly .these results are achieved through normal growth besides mandibular skeletal and dentoalveolar changes. treatment.Twenty-five measurements of cephalometrics before and after the treatment of Activitor were carried out,statistical analysis was usedConclusion: patients with ClassⅡDivisionⅠmalocclusions should get the treatment of Activitor as soon as quickly .The overjet,overbite and profile of patients improved siginificantly after the treatment of Activitor.
