| The subject intends to classify traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) into different groups by TCM property classification method based on the TCM immunity regression equation P=eA+B+C+constant item/(1+ eA+B+C+constant item) (A=0.235×fruit+0.626×subterranean stem -1.134×others ; B=1.001×neutral in nature +2.079×faint in taste +1.374×sour flavour -0.793×acrid flavour +1.172×the Heart Channel +0.811×the Kidney Channel+ 0.731×the Spleen Channel;C=0.774×sedative drugs +3.706×tonics -17.532×damp-dissolving drugs +1.790×phlegm-reducing drugs +2.251×drugs having the property of promoting blood circulation and resolving blood stasis +2.096×drugs relieving the exterior syndrome -17.949×qi-flow regulating herbal medicine +0.065×remove dampness and promote diuresis +1.694×antipyretic -17.592×a medicine for expelling worms +1.540×drugs for rheumatism and arthritis +0.678×drugs for expelling cold -1.241×the herbs with astringent +2.516×external application -17.631×digestion pill +1.708×purgative drugs +2.266×arrest cough +0.082×others;constant item =-4.087) of our previous work—Establishment of Immunological Database and Study on Immunological Regularity of Chinese Material Medical and select randomly one medicinal herb from each group for the experiment, totally 10 groups. The 10 medicinal herbs are of different kinds according to TCM classification, radix polygalae belongs to the tranquilizing and heat-nourishing kind; radix asparagi belongs to yin-nourishing kind; rhizoma cibotii belongs to yang-supporting kind; radix rehmanniae praeparata belongs to blood-tonifying kind; cortex lycii belongs to heat-clearing and blood-cooling kind; rhizome menispermi belongs to heat-clearing and detoxication kind; caulis trachelospermi belongs towind-dispelling and dampness-removing kind; rhizoma zingiberis belongs to inner-warming kind; semen nelumbinis belongs to pyknotic kind; and herba cirsii japonici belongs to astringent kind. Calculated by the TCM immune effect discriminatory equation, radix asparagi , rhizoma cibotii and radix rehmanniae praeparata have immune effect and radix polygalae , cortex lycii , rhizome menispermi , caulis trachelospermi , rhizoma zingiberis , semen nelumbinis and herba cirsii japonici not.Take KunMing mice as study object, half are male and half are female, weight 20-24g, 200 mice in total. Groups 1 to 10 are respectively radix polygalae , radix asparagi , rhizoma cibotii , radix rehmanniae praeparata , cortex lycii , rhizome menispermi , caulis trachelospermi , rhizoma zingiberis , semen nelumbinis , herba cirsii japonici, group 11 is 5% glucose normal sodium control group,and group 12 is a blank control group without oral administering or injecting antigen. Assign 16 mice for each of group 1 to group 10 and 30 for group 11; inject egg nucleua protein-antigen in fold inguen on the 0 day and the 10th day respectively (0.2ml for each mouse); administer drug for each group once per day from the 3rd day and 0.5ml for each mouse for successive 7 days. Take blood from eye and get serum by centrifugal method. Adopt enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) with egg nucleua protein coating ELISA plate to test corresponding antibody of mice serum.Experiment result shows that: groups of rhizoma cibotii, rhizome menispermi and herba cirsii japonici are distinctively higher than control group (p<0.1), which indicates the increasing immune effect; others are observed to have no increasing immune effect. Only rhizoma cibotii among those forecasted to have immune effect presents remarkable difference. Among those TCM forecasted to have no immune effect, rhizome menispermi and herba cirsii japonici have immune effect. The conformity rate of forecasting is 60%. So it can be initially proved that regression equation (P=eA+B+C+constant item/(1+ eA+B+C+constant item)) has certain reference value in study of TCM property theory and immunity of organism. |
