Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a new tomography technology followed CT, B ultrasonic and other imaging diagnosis methods. The magnetic resonance signal is proportional to nuclear density, magnetic moment and polarization ratio. Conventional magnetic resonance imaging uses the high intensity of protons in organism. But the intensity of protons in lung is just one tenth of that of other tissues, so it presents great challenge to conventional magnetic resonance imaging technique.Considering the present difficulties of lung MRI, and in order to improve the resolving rate of the lung tissues when imaging, we do researches on the enhanced lung MRI methods and the related technologies.Noble gases with a nuclear spin 1/2(3He, 129Xe) can be hyperpolarized by optical pumping. Hyperpolarization results in a non-equilibrium...
