Background: Glaucoma is a one of the main causes of blindness in the world, especially in China. It is characterized by the axon loss of the retinal nerve ganglion cells and retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL), which result in the damage of the visual function. Early diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma are the key to prent blindness due to glaucoma.Nowaday's one of the golden standards to the diagnosis of glaucoma is Visual Field. While, it has been proved that 50 percent of the RNFL has been lost when the visual field loss is detective in clinical. So, RNFL analysis is becoming one of the objective and reliable indexes for the diagnosis of early glaucoma.GDx-VCC (Scanning laser polarimetry, SLP, NFA) is an effective Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer Analyzer, Which use 780nm laser as it' source. It has a polarimeter scanner to detect the thickness of the RNFL around the optic disk , and it is combined with a viariable cornea compensator (VCC) which can provide reliable evidences for the early diagonis of glaucoma.Part one : Reproducibilty of the GDx-VCCPurpose : To evaluate the variation of the RNFL images and RNFL thickness captured by GDx-VCC .Methods: 1) 50 glaucoma patients'(93 eyes) RNFL images caputured by GDx-VCC were evaluated by three independent ophthalmologists on separate occasion...
