A Study On The Association Of HLA Class Ⅱ Genes With TCM Syndrome Type Of Vitiligo

Objective To investigate two kinds of HLA allele frequency with vitiligo and it's association with TCM syndrome type of vitiligo in Han's nationality Chinese of zhejiang province .Methods All cases according with the criteria of vitiligo were divided into five groups: Wind-Heat-Damp type,Liver-Kinney Deficiency type,Gan stagnation caused Qi stagnation type, Blood stasis type, Spleen-Stomach Deficiency type. HLA-DQBI*0201, -DRB1*0701 alleles were determinded by PCR-SSP assay in both 276 patients and 260 control groups.Results There was a significantly increase in HLA-DQBI*0201 (OR=1.639, P=0.031) and -DRB1*0701 (OR=1.696, P=0.033) in vitiligo patients compared with controls. It was also found that -DQBI*0201 was significantly associated with TCM type of blood stasis and -DRB1*0701 significantly higher in Gan stagnation caused Qi stagnation type., while the two kinds of alleles were also positive associated with Spleen-Stomach Deficiency type.Conclusion â‘ HLA-DQBI*0201,-DRB1*0701 alleles could be the susceptible alleles of vitiligo and provide clues to reveal the immunogenetic mechanisms of vitiligo..â‘¡There might be different genetic backgounds between the different TCM syndrome type of vitiligo. â‘¢These results could provide clues to identify the objective of TCM syndrome type of vitilig...
