Objective To evaluate the clinical value of psychological intervention at perioperation stage among school children. Methods Forty-five children without psychological barrier, hypertension, desease of increation and other serious desease were divided randomly into intervention group (22 children) and control group (23 children), their mental status after entering operating room and the hemodynamic changes in the period of perioperation were observed and recorded. The anxiety levels were tested by MYPAS (modified Yale preoperative anxiety scale) at 4 time point s : days before operation, entering operating room, anesthesia induction, 24 hours after operation. The cooperative levels during the anesthesia induction were tested by ICC (induction compliance checklist) at anesthesia induction. Venous blood samples were obtained when coming into the hospital , anesthesia induction, in the operation(20 minutes after incision) and 24 hours after operation for determination of plasma noradrenalin and cortisol. The cases and dosages of the two groups'anesthesia medicine, and the evaluated satisfactive levels of the parents were recorded. Results (1) Children in intervention group were quiet after entering operating room and could cooperate with medical staffs in preoperative preparations such as puncture of peripheral vein , puncture of dural。There was a significant different in their cooperative levels between the intervention group and control group. (2).The difference of perioperation blood pressure and pluse between the two groups was remarkable.(3).The children's anxiety levels in control group were significantly higher than in intervention group.(4)The children's cooperative levels of intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group.(5) There were no remarkable difference in the serum noradrenalin and cortisol concentration of the two groups.In the intervention group ,compared with preoperation ,the cortisol concentration was much lower when operating and entering...
