Methods By using SP immunohistochemical method,we examined the expression of pl6 protein in 30 cases normal cervical tissue , 20 cases cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and 52 cases squamous cervical carcinoma .Analysis were performed using the SPSS 12.0 statistical package. The association between pl6 protein expression and clinicopathologic parameters (such as age tumor size histologic grade tumor infiltrate deepness clinical stage lymph node metastasis )was assessed by the x~2 test or Fisher's exact test. Kaplan -Meier method was used in univariate analysis,Cox stepwise regression model was used in multivariate analysis for prognosis evaluation. Results The expression of p16 protein in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and squamous cervical carcinoma were higher than normal cervical tissue (P<0.05) ; The expression of pl6 protein in squamous cervical carcinoma was higher than cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(P<0.05) ; The expression of pl6 protein in squamous cervical carcinoma correlated with histologic grade and lymph node... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Cervical carcinoma, p16 protein, Immunohistochemistry, Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia(CIN), Prognosis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
