Object Applying fascial fat flap with pedicel to wrap repaired tendon to study a way on promoting tendon healing and preventing adhesion in acute injured tendons. Method In this experiment, using 18 SD rats randomly, every right hind limb of rats as experiment group (FW group), and left hind limb as control group (TS group). In FW group, repaired tendon was wrapped with fascial fat flap after flipping pedicle; only repairing injured tendon with micro-suture in TS group. After having made specimen, macroscopic observation, histological observation and functional recovery test were performed at 2, 4 and 8 week. Result Macroscopic and histological observation showed that healing was better and adhesions were less severe in FW group at 2, 4 and 8 week; 2 tendon were ruptured in TS group; The FW group allowed for better flexion and was superior to the TS group, averaging 73.9% to 62.5%.Conclusion Applying fascial fat flap with pedicel to wrap repaired tendon is useful on promoting tendon healing and preventing adhesion.
