Objective:To evaluate the influence of CMV and HFOV on cardiomyocyte apoptosis in adult rabbits with inhalation injury and to reaserch the possible mechanism. Methods:1. building the model of inhalation injury:20 anesthetized adult rabbits were randomly divided into CMV group and HFOV group. Each group consisted of 10 rabbits. Anesthetized rabbits were tracheostomized and were inserted endotracheal catheter. Rabbits were blocked spontaneously breathing on CMV and inhaled vapor. Ventilator settings:PIP 20cmH2O, VT 10ml/kg, I:E 1:2, RR 30 /min, PEEP 0cmH2O, FIO2 21%.2. ventilating model:After remodeling, rabbits in one group went on with CMV. Ventilator settings:PIP 20cmH2O, VT 10ml/kg, I:E 1:2, RR 30/min,PEEP 5cmH2O, FIO2 100%. Rabbits in the other group were applied to HFOV. Ventilator settings:MAP 10cmH2O, F 10HZ, ΔP 25 cmH2O, FIO2 100%. Ventilating time lasting 31/2hr.3.TNF-α of myocardium and cardiomyocyte apoptosis rate were observed. Arterial blood gas analysis, oxygenation index, heart rate, systemic arterial blood pressure . and myocardium pathological examination were performed.
