ObjectiveTo investigate the isolating and culturing methods of rat bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in vitro, and differentiate them into neurocyto-like cells inducing by salvia mitiorrhiza. MSCs can be induced to overcome their mesenchymal commitment and may constitute an abundant and accessible cellular reservoir for the treatment of a variety of neurologic disease.MethodsWe isolated the nucleated cells from male Sprague-Dawley rat's bone marrow through gradient centrifugation, then cultured them and removed the unadheren cells, and got pure MSCs to study their character.
