[Background] Osteoporosis(OP) is a disease characterized by low bone mass and deterioration of bone microarchitecture, which lead to an increase of bone fragility and tendency of fractures. Osteoporotic fracture might be its worst result. The most widely used parameters of osteoporosis include bone mineral density, biochemical markers of bone metabolism, biomechanical properties and the microarchitecture of bone trabecula.[Aim] Achieve a further understanding of the forming and mineralization of new trabeculae, the change of collagen mass and their biomechanical properties with the help of the establishment of osteoporotic fracture model of rat and the evaluation of roentgenographic, histological, biochemical markers of bone metabolism (TRAP-5b), BMD and biomechanical properties. In order to provide further evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporotic fracture.[Material and method] 90 adult female SD rat(SPF) were randomly...
