| Purpose: Guided bone regeneration is extensively applied in oral clinic and research for it is a good method to solve bone defect in periodontal disease, oral implant and oral maxillofacial region. But the current using GBR membrane is almost imported and very expensive. We want to develop a domestic membrane with good capability and lower price. Nano-hydroxyapatite/collagen membrane(nHAC) offered by Tsinghua university is composed of natural collagen fibers and nano-hydroxyapatite which has similar micro-structure and characters with the natural bone tissue. It was approved with prophase experiments in rats that nHAC had good biocompatibility and safety, adequate mechanical strength and could be completely bioresorbed after more than 6 weeks. But we don't know the biocompatibility of the degraded product of nHAC and don't know the influence of that to the osteoblasts.
