In recent years, the incidence of tuberculosis was rising steadily year by year , tuberculosis is still the major global health threat . The vaccination of Mycobacterium bovis- Bacillus Calmette-Guerin(BCG) is a main feasible method to prevent the tuberculosis which is effective and economical. But the BCG vaccination cannot achieve controls of the tuberculosis completely, several research indicated that effectiveness vaccinated by BCG is 0% to 80%, therefore promoting the immunity activeness of BCG became the emergency. The lipoarabinamannan(LAM) was considered is one of Mycobacterium tuberculosis virulence factors, involving in host-Mycobacterium interactions through link with the macrophage surface mannose-receptor. It limitedly distributes on Mycobactenal complex cell wall by complex lipolysaccharide form. Purified ManLAM participats in suppression of cytokine secretion such as IL-12, TNF- alpha, IL-8 in tuberculosis infection, causes the weakly induced apotosis of macrophage and reduced adjustment the antigen presenting process of dendritic cell, this probably facilitate the Mycobacterium tuberculosis multiply within macrophage and its virulence.
