| [Objectives] To observe and compare the structural and functional hepatic damage , pathological changes of liver and intestine and state of heterotropic parasitism, after being infected with Schistosoma Japonicum Yunnan. Strain and Wan'e Strain respectively on same condition. To evaluate the differences of pathogenicity between two strains. [Methods] 22 rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: control group, dali group and wan'e group, each rabbit of the two experiment groups were challenged with 150 ±2 cercariae of Yunnan and Wan'e respectively. 2,6 and 12 weeks after infection, automatic biochemical analyzer was employed for determination of serum levels of total protein, albumin, globulin, alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST), total bilirubin and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase(γ-GT) of rabbits in both control group and experimental groups respectively. Data were analyzed with SPSS 12.0 statistic software. 2,6 and 12 weeks after infection, a part of experimental rabbits were killed to observe the number and density of node in liver surface, and pathological changes of liver, small intestine and large intestine with microscope, 12 weeks after infection , determinate the serum hyaluronic acid (HA), previous collegen III (PCIII) and collegen type IV (IV-C) with radioimmunoassay, and observed lung and brain tissue with tabletting.[Results] Hepatic damage in rabbits could be found during the infection. As to liver function: was mainly affected to protein metabolism, liver functional parameter shown: serum levels of albumin were decreased and that of globulin were increased. In the cause of damage, changes of aminotransferase activity could be found. In this experiment, the changes of serum level of ALT,AST and γ-GT were in form of increasing---increasingrecover. Serum total bilirubin were increased rightly. Except for serum total bilirubin, the changes of other livers functional parameters in dali group were more significant. As to liver structure: 2 weeks after infection,... |
