Pulmonary tuberculosis has already become a worldwide disease these years. Rifampicin, as a main drug for tuberculosis, is widely used in clinic and hospital.The research focuses on the preparation of Rifampicin gelatin microsphere(RFP-GMS), the absorption, pharmacokinetics and lung targeting in animals . In order to provide a scientific basis for the development and application of this study , a series of experiments have been done in it .Up to now , there has been no report about the study of RFP-GMS both home and abroad. The research made were as follows:1. In the research of preformulation, Ultraviolet (UV) spectrophotometry method was development for determination of physicochemical properties, solubility and drug release; High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) method with UV detection was applied to detect content, encapsulation efficiency, the stability of RFP-GMS and RFP as well as the plasma concentration of RFP in. rats and the pulmonary tissue concentration in mouse.
