In the present dissertation, adopting an anti-coronary heart diseases selective bioassay model the Hippophae Rhamnoides L. which had good cardio-vascular effect in clinic was investigated its bioactivities by MTT method and using endothelial cell—ECV-304 cell. Previous investigations have reported that the main component in fruits of Hippophae Rhamnoides L. were flavones(cont>9.5%), triterpenes(cont. of ursolic acid more than 1.34-1.60 %) and steroids, and etc. From the result of bioassay metioned above, the 70% alcohol fraction from poliamide which displayed good activities was isolated. With the guide of bioassay method, 17 compounds were gained using many chromatograph methods such as silic gel column, Sephadex LH20, ODS-C18, column MPLC and PHPLC column. Among them, 14 compounds were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectral methods; one of them was new compound, another two were first obtained form this genus of plant. The only one new compound was named as: 3-methyl-4-(4'- hydroxylbenzoyloxy) -2-ene-1-butanol-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (11). Together with 13 known compounds: 2α-hydroxylursolic acid (1), ursolic acid (2), Isorhamnetin (3), Quercetin (4), Daucosterol (5), Kaempferol (6), Phthalic acid dibutyl ester (7), Quercetin 3-O-β-D- glucopyra noside (8), 5,7, 4'-trihydroxyflavanonol -7-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (9), 3 , 4 , 2'- trihydroxychalcone -4'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (10), 5 , 4'-dihydroxyl-3"-hydroxymethyl-2"-(4'"-hydroxyl-3'" -methoxyphenyl) -1, 4- dioxane [5, 6: 7, 8] flavanonol (Crenulation) (12), Stigmasterol (13), β-sitosterol (14). Among them, compounds 9, 12 were isolated from this genus of plant for the first time.On the basis of anti-coronary heart diseases bioassay methods, fifteen compounds among which seven were favones, three triterpenes and three steroids have been isolated and their structures have also been confirmed. According to the result of this experiment, it is deduced that the bioactive part of Hippophae Rhamnoides L. converged in these main substances known...
