[Objective]1. To investigate the key points of quality control of 16-slice spiral CT coronary angiography (16SCTCA) technique .2. To evaluate the clinical value of 16SCTCA in observing anatomy variations of coronary artery and the diagnosis / therapy applications on the coronary artery diseases.[Meterials and Methods]1. Totally 76 patients were examined with 16SCTCA including 25 healthy volunteers and 51 patients which chosen as known or suspected coronary heart disease. 2/51 patients were simultaneously detected with selective coronary angiography, 2 patients were ever taken coronary artery bypass graft surgery and 5 patients were undergone implanted stent. The operating parameters included rotation time: 0.5S, slice thickness: 1.25mm, reconstruction interval:0.625mm, Pitch:0.275:1, FOV:250mm, matrix:512×512, tube voltage:120KV and tube current:380-420mA. During scanning, the ECG tracing was recorded on a 3.5 inch floppy disk with retrospectively ECG-gated technology .Segment data gathering pattern was used. The scan delay time was determined on the basis of the result of small dose bolus...
