Ni-Cr alloy is widely use in fixed restorations in domestic market at present. Because of the property of the Ni-Cr alloy itself,Porcelain may collapse from the Ni-Cr alloy and result in restoration failure; meanwhile, the Ni-Cr alloy is easy eroded and the ion released may cause gingival inflammation and pigmentation.Cryotreat is a technique that put the object into the liquid nitrogen with a special temperature drop rate. Cryotreat is used in various fields in western countries, and can improve the quality of the material with low cost and almost no pollution.Researches indicate that Cryotreat can improve mechanical abilities of Ni-Cr alloy and porcelain, but there are still no reports on the effect of Cryotreat on bond strength of porcelain and Ni-Cr alloy.Purpose: This experiment is to investigate effects of Cryotreat on the bonding strength of porcelain and Ni-Cr alloy, thus provides experimental basis for clinical application of this technique.Method: 10 samples were fabricated by routine method, and divided into 2 groups randomly, as control group and cryotreat group. The first step...
