The Effect Of Genistein And Combined With 5-Fu On Growth And Metastasis Of Human Gastric Cancer In An Orthotopic Mouse Model

OBJECTIVE: This purpose of this study was to identify the influ-ence and mechanism of Genistein(Gen) combine with 5-Fu on tumor growth and metastasis of gastric cancer in an orthotopic model of nude miceMETHODS: The experiment based on 24 nude mice models of or-thotopic transplantation of human gastric cancer.They are divided randomly into four groups(six in each): Control group; 5-Fu group(10mg/kg); Gen group(0.5mg/kg); Combination group: Gen+5-Fu group(5-Fu 10mg/kg+Gen 0.5mg/kg). Receiving intraperitoneal injection respectively, for con-secutive 30 days. observe animal action and record animal weight. At the end of the 10th week of the experiment, volume, weught, pathological changes of tumor tissues, local invasiveness and metastasis in the local lymph node, liver and spleen were compared among different groups.
