Objective: To evaluate physical, biological and biomechanical characters of Injectable n-HA/PA66 composite cement, and the effect of the content of n-HA in composite on these items, and to provide experimental foundation for its farther improvement and clinical application. Methods: (1) Making three kinds of Injectable n-HA/PA66 composite cement, the weight ratio of n-HA in cement were about 40wt%, 50wt%, 60wt%. The setting time, compressive strength, anti-washout and remnant percentage were examined. (2) 60 healthy adult rabbits (120 condyles of femurs) were randomly divided into 4 groups(group A, B, C, D). Cylindrical defects (?6mm×12mm) were made in rabbit femoral condyles. 40wt%, 50wt%, 60wt% n-HA/PA66 composite cement was injected into the defects of group A, B, C respectively. Group D was the blank control group. The effect of repairing the defects was evaluated by radiography, histology, SPECT and biomechanical testing at 2, 4, 8, 12, 16 weeks after...
